Why notes, when you already have textbooks
FSc textbooks are written to teach a subject over two years. The MDCAT tests whether you can recognise the right answer in roughly one minute. Those are different tasks, and in the last few weeks before the exam the textbook becomes the wrong tool — not because it is inaccurate, but because it is not organised around what gets asked.
These notes are organised around what gets asked. Each page takes one PMDC chapter and reduces it to the definitions, processes, numbers and distinctions that appear in questions, in the order the syllabus lists them. They are deliberately not a replacement for your textbook during the learning phase. They are what you read when you already studied a chapter in March and need it back in September.
How to use them across a revision cycle
The pattern that works for most students is read, test, return. Read a chapter's notes in one sitting. Immediately attempt questions on that chapter — the subject MCQ pages and the topic-wise practice tool both work for this. Then come back to the notes only for what you got wrong. Re-reading a whole chapter because you missed two questions feels productive and mostly is not; the gap is usually two specific facts, and finding them is faster than rereading.
Leave the sections you find easy alone. Students consistently over-revise their strongest chapters because revision there is pleasant and revision elsewhere is not. The marks, unfortunately, are elsewhere.
How the subjects differ
Biology is 81 of the 180 marks and rewards breadth — there is simply a lot of it, and most questions are recall. Chemistry (45 marks) splits between calculation-heavy physical chemistry, mechanism-driven organic chemistry, and largely memorisable inorganic chemistry; the three need different study methods. Physics (36 marks) is the section pre-medical students most often neglect, and it is conceptual rather than computational — knowing which principle applies matters more than arithmetic speed. English and Logical Reasoning are 9 marks each: small, quick to improve, and routinely decisive when merit lists are settled by two or three marks.

Every page in this collection is locked to the official Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC) MDCAT 2026 syllabus for Punjab. We do not include any topic that is outside the PMC table of specifications — no blood relations, no coding-decoding, no analogies. Your time only goes toward what the test actually rewards.

Common questions about these notes
Are these notes enough on their own?
For revision, usually yes. For learning a chapter for the first time, no — use your FSc textbook, then use these to keep the chapter fresh. Notes compress; compression is useful only once you have something to compress.
Do they cover the whole PMDC 2026 syllabus?
They cover every chapter in the official curriculum for Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English and Logical Reasoning. Nothing outside the curriculum is included, which is a deliberate choice: a large amount of MDCAT material in circulation covers topics the exam does not test.
Can I download them as PDF?
There is no PDF bundle. The pages are built to be read on a phone and are updated when the curriculum or our understanding of a topic changes; a downloaded copy would silently go stale. Any page prints cleanly from your browser if you want it on paper.
