How to Calculate Your MDCAT Aggregate
If you want to compute your Punjab MBBS aggregate by hand, follow these five steps. Each step matches the official UHS and PMC merit list calculation.
- Convert MDCAT score to percentage. Divide your MDCAT score by 200 and multiply by 100. Example: 170 / 200 × 100 = 85%.
- Convert FSc marks to percentage. Divide FSc marks by 1100 and multiply by 100. Example: 1000 / 1100 × 100 = 90.91%.
- Convert Matric marks to percentage. Divide Matric marks by 1100 and multiply by 100. Example: 1050 / 1100 × 100 = 95.45%.
- Apply the weightage. Multiply MDCAT% by 0.50, FSc% by 0.40, Matric% by 0.10.
- Sum the three contributions. Add the three weighted percentages. The total is your final Punjab MBBS aggregate.
Worked Examples
Three sample calculations showing how MDCAT score, FSc marks and Matric marks combine into a final Punjab aggregate.
FSc 1080/1100 = 98.18% → 98.18 × 0.40 = 39.27
Matric 1080/1100 = 98.18% → 98.18 × 0.10 = 9.82
FSc 1020/1100 = 92.73% → 92.73 × 0.40 = 37.09
Matric 1050/1100 = 95.45% → 95.45 × 0.10 = 9.55
FSc 1050/1100 = 95.45% → 95.45 × 0.40 = 38.18
