MDCAT KPK 2026: KMU paper guide
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa the MDCAT is conducted by Khyber Medical University (KMU), Peshawar; before that, ETEA ran the KP entry test. Here are both sets of papers and practice MCQs in the KMU style.
Same syllabus, KMU paper
Every province sits the same PMDC paper format: 180 MCQs in 3 hours, no negative marking — Biology 81 (45%), Chemistry 45 (25%), Physics 36 (20%), English 9 (5%), Logical Reasoning 9 (5%). The syllabus is the single PMDC uniform curriculum; there is no separate KPK syllabus. What differs is who writes the questions, and so the style, wording and emphasis of the paper.
How the KMU paper reads
We measured the real KMU and ETEA papers on this site against the national PMC papers:

KP papers have consistently carried more calculation than the national average. The old ETEA papers had about 40% numerical Physics and Chemistry items, and KMU still sits above the national figure. Practise numericals under time pressure.
KMU MDCAT 2026
KMU held MDCAT 2026 on 20 September 2026 and published the official answer key (4 codes). 37,747 of 38,845 registered candidates appeared and 66% passed; the KMU topper scored 180/180. Results are on KMU's result portal.
